March's Birthstone: Aquamarine
In this series I am showcasing each month’s birthstone, so you can find out all about the properties of the stone, and get ideas about how to style your birthstone jewellery to create your perfect seasonal look!
Let the power of aquamarine flow through you!
March’s birthstone aquamarine balances the throat chakra with gentle energy that encourages us to speak our truth with clarity and conviction. It is also said to give the wearer a quiet confidence, allowing you to settle disputes or conflict fairly but firmly.
Choose your own birthstones to be set on a delicate, faceted sterling silver ring, hanging on an 18inch sterling silver chain. The pendant will be lightly polished to catch the light beautifully!
Your stones can be set in either sterling silver or 9ct yellow gold.
A stunning and affordable pedant for your love, or a beautiful celebration of your loved ones.
£2 from every order will be donated to a charity close to my heart via Work For Good. Find out which charity I’m supporting this month.

Aquamarine’s translucent shades can vary from almost clear, to a vibrant blue, but mostly it’s a subtle pastel colour. Heat treating and dyeing is common with aquamarine, to increase the intensity of its hue, but you won’t find that with any of my gemstones. They’re as natural as you can get, almost as if they came straight from the ground (via the stone-cutter’s lathe!).
As March signals the start of Spring, aquamarine is the perfect stone to wear this season, even if it’s not your birthstone. Pair it with pale pinks or yellows for the Spring pastel palette of your dreams, or or even (if you’re feeling bold!) with an all-white outfit. As it’s a translucent stone, it will pick up either warm or cool tones depending on which metal it’s set in. Although it’s naturally cool blue in colour, it really warms up when set in yellow gold. But you can double-down with its icy coolness by setting it in silver, depending what works best for your skin-tone. So whatever your style, check out my range of aquamarine jewellery to find your perfect match.
Are you a March baby? Let me know in the comments, so I can wish you a very happy birthday!
